Vidhyadeep Law College celebrated Samvidhan Divas (Constitution Day of India)Â on 26th November 2025Â with great enthusiasm and academic fervor, aiming to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to inculcate constitutional values among students.
The programme was organized under the guidance of the faculty and witnessed active participation from students. The event was graced by Mrs. Naynaben Sharma, District Judge, Olpad District and Sessions Court, and Chairperson, District Legal Services Authority, Olpad, as the Resource Person.
The programme commenced with a formal welcome and introduction of the dignitary, followed by a special speech by the guest. In her insightful address, Mrs. Naynaben Sharma highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution in maintaining democratic governance and the rule of law. She emphasized fundamental rights, duties, and constitutional morality, and encouraged students to uphold justice, equality, and ethical values in their future legal careers. Her speech provided practical insights into the judicial system and the role of legal services authorities in ensuring access to justice.

As part of the celebration, an Elocution Competition on the Constitution of India was organized for students. Participants eloquently expressed their views on constitutional principles, rights and duties, and the relevance of the Constitution in contemporary society. The competition fostered critical thinking, public speaking skills, and constitutional awareness among students. Kunal Surti third ear LL.B. student received first place in this competition.
Following the competition, certificates were distributed to the participants and winners in recognition of their performance and active participation. The distribution of certificates served as encouragement and motivation for students to engage in academic and co-curricular activities related to legal education.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to Mrs. Naynaben Sharma for her valuable presence and enlightening speech, as well as to the faculty members and students for their enthusiastic participation. The celebration of Samvidhan Divas proved to be a meaningful and educative programme, reinforcing respect for the Constitution and its enduring values.
