Vidhyadeep University proudly celebrated International Women's Day 2026 with the inspiring theme "Give to Gain-Empowered Women, Equality, Progress." The event was organized to honor the strength, achievements, and invaluable contributions of women in society and to promote awareness about women's empowerment, health, and leadership.
The programme was graced by Dr. Purvi Patel (MD, DGO, FAMS)-Gynecologist & Infertility Specialist and Director of Pahal Multispecialty Hospital, who attended as the Chief Guest. In her insightful address, she shared valuable perspectives on women’s health, the importance of self-care, independence, and the vital role women play in shaping a healthy and progressive society, inspiring everyone present.
The event was further honored by the presence of Mrs. Bina Kalathiya, Entrepreneur and Trainer for the education of elderly people, who joined as the Guest of Honour. Through her motivating words, she encouraged women to continue learning, growing, and contributing to society at every stage of life.
The celebration was further enriched by the inspiring address of Dr. Vipul Shastri, Vice Chancellor of Vidhyadeep University, who appreciated the dedication and achievements of women and encouraged them to move forward with confidence, resilience, and leadership.
A special felicitation ceremony was organized to honor the senior and longest-serving staff members of the university, recognizing their years of dedication, commitment, and valuable service to the institution.
The programme also included fun games, team-building activities, and interactive sessions, where women staff members participated enthusiastically, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. The celebration concluded with refreshments and warm interactions, leaving everyone with smiles and a sense of appreciation.
