MANTHAN-2026, the annual cultural event of Vidhyadeep University, was successfully held on 30 March 2026, showcasing the vibrant talent, creativity, and cultural diversity of students across various departments. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of President Shri Jayantibhai Patel, Vice President Dr. Hirenbhai Patel, Provost Dr. Vipul Sastri, Registrar Dr. Vilin Parekh, and Campus Director Mr. Mukundbhai Patel, along with respected principals, deans, faculty members, and enthusiastic students.
The programme commenced at 5:30 PM with the VDU Anthem, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing knowledge and positivity. The cultural segment began with a devotional Ganesh Vandana performed by B.Ed. students, setting an elegant and energetic tone for the evening.
Students from departments including Homeopathy, Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology, Nursing, Law, Science, Physiotherapy, BBA, Diploma, BCA, and Commerce actively participated in various categories such as Folk Dance, Contemporary Dance, and Fashion Show. Each performance reflected strong coordination, creativity, and dedication. Folk dances highlighted traditional cultural richness, contemporary performances demonstrated artistic expression, and fashion shows showcased confidence, style, and presentation skills.
The event was conducted in two structured sessions from 5:43 PM to 7:23 PM and 7:25 PM to 8:30 PM, ensuring smooth execution. The anchor effectively engaged the audience by introducing performances and maintaining continuity between segments with brief intervals.
