The Teacher’s Day Celebration was organized by Shri S. R. Patel B.Ed. College at Room No. 209, “E†Building, Vidhyadeep University on 04 September 2025 from 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM. The program was conducted with the objective of recognizing and honoring the valuable contribution of teachers in shaping the lives of students and society. A total of 23 participants attended the event, including trainee teachers, faculty members, and the principal.
The celebration began at 12:00 PM with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony performed by trainee students who assumed the roles of teachers and principal for the day. This symbolic act marked the beginning of the program and reflected respect for the teaching profession. After the inauguration, trainee teachers conducted teaching sessions where each participant delivered a short lecture of approximately 15 minutes. These sessions provided an opportunity for students to experience the responsibilities and role of a teacher in a classroom environment.
The activity not only allowed trainee teachers to demonstrate their teaching skills but also helped them gain confidence, improve communication abilities, and understand classroom management. It also created an interactive and engaging learning environment for all participants.
At around 3:00 PM, all trainee teachers along with the faculty members and the principal gathered in the classroom for the concluding part of the celebration. During this session, students expressed their gratitude and respect towards their teachers by presenting greeting cards as a token of appreciation. This gesture reflected the deep respect and acknowledgment of the guidance and support provided by teachers in their academic journey.
Towards the end of the program, the trainee teachers shared their experiences and reflections about acting as teachers during the event. They discussed what they learned from the activity and how it helped them understand the importance and responsibilities of the teaching profession.
The entire event was smoothly coordinated by trainee teacher Yadav Prerna Rohitbhai. Overall, the celebration created a positive and respectful atmosphere in the institution, strengthened the bond between teachers and students, and inspired trainee teachers to develop appreciation and commitment toward the teaching profession.
