Vidhyadeep Homoeopathic Medical College National Level Reel Making Competition 2026

Published April 04, 2026 By VDU 2 min read

Vidhyadeep University’s Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Centre, located in Surat, Gujarat, is proud to host a National Level Reel Making Competition to commemorate World Homoeopathy Week. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between traditional medical knowledge and modern digital communication. By utilizing the popular "reel" format, the university aims to spread awareness about homoeopathy in a way that is accessible, creative, and engaging for the younger generation and the general public alike. The competition aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3, which focuses on "Good Health and Well-being," reflecting the institution's commitment to global health standards.

Participants are encouraged to create content based on three distinct and thought-provoking themes. The first theme, "From Samuel Hahnemann to AI: Evolution of Healing Systems," asks creators to explore the historical journey of homoeopathy into the digital age. The second theme, "Role in Mental Health in Today’s Fast-Paced Life," highlights the holistic benefits of homoeopathy in addressing modern psychological stresses. The third theme, "Bridging Traditional Knowledge with Modern Research Tools," focuses on the scientific rigor and evidence-based future of the practice. These topics challenge participants to combine scientific accuracy with artistic flair.

To ensure a fair and professional competition, several technical guidelines have been established. Each reel must be an original creation, formatted vertically (9:16 ratio), and last between 30 and 60 seconds. In an effort to be inclusive, the competition accepts entries in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. While basic editing is encouraged to enhance the "Presentation & Impact," the core focus remains on "Scientific Accuracy" and "Relevance." Submissions are handled digitally via a QR code system, and all entries must be received by the deadline of April 1, 2026. This national-level event serves as a prestigious platform for students across the country to demonstrate their understanding of homoeopathic principles while contributing to the field's digital presence.
